The ERP support specialist will be primarily responsible
for providing internal support to users using Visual Dolphin ERP. These
users will range from senior management or junior employees. The role
may require training staff (post internal training), communicating
additions to the ERP (new features) to management, making
recommendations on reporting methods, best practices and improvements to
existing processes.
Other responsibilities are:
- Internal support to MENA users
- Liaise with Dolphin Solutions team regarding ugprades, escalating issues,
- BI: pivot tables, dashboards
- SQL Server queries used for reporting
- Basic Crystal Reports skills (adding logo, modifying address)
- Understanding management requirements and applying the ERP features to meet these requests
Internally, the ERP specialist will and should interact with all levels of the organization.
Externally, he/she will interact with Dolphin Solutions team.
At least BSc in Computer Science or Business Computers with 5 years relevant work experience.
Training & Knowledge:
- ERP in general
- SQL Server or similar relational databases
- Crystal Reports preferred for reporting
- Advanced to expert in Excel
- Knowledge of accounting principles (general ledger, trial balance,
income statement, balance sheet, aging of payables/receivables )
Ideally this person will also have a strong understanding of accounting
principles, as well as Media/Advertising requirements to a certain
extent.
This role may require some travel regionally within MENA. This is an
urgent role and we are looking for someone who can start within 30 days.
