The Role

Rethink and myself have been exclusively commissioned by our key Account client to execute a search and select for the position Estimation Manager

Our client is one of the key Global Developers within the region with a strong foothold in the UAE. Based here in Dubai my client is in the process of a constructing a major mixed use development which is due to last several year.

They are seeking an experienced Estimation Manager to join their Company on a mega mixed use development project here in the UAE. The project will consist of Residential Housing, Luxury Villas, High rise, hospital ,schools, retail and mega high rise. The community development will be part of a much larger district development.

The role would be based with the Civil Contractor who is part of the developers group.

Requirements

Ideal candidates need to be degree educated in civil engineering or Quantity surveying or similar disciplines.

Having worked on mega projects or major mixed use developments on the main contractor side with a minimum 12-15 years industrial experience , 4 years minimum in the Middle East. Specifically candidates need to have hands on experience in the estimation process and pre tender experience.

Ideally candidates should also have some post contract experience and able to execute their task through value engineering, having up to date knowledge on cost in the region and a strong ethos to quality.
